Download the 21.10 Ubuntu Desktop Install Virtual Box Open Virtual Box to Create New VM Select the Blue Icon "New" Name the Machine, Under type change it to linux, and version Select Ubuntu 64bit Memory Size will depend on how much RAM you have, I advise 2048MB
Select the Create Virtual Hard Disk now Use the Standard settings for the Virtual Hard Disk Select Settings for Allocated VM Select Storage
Under "Controller: IDE" there will be a blue circle that says empty.
Select it To the right there will be a section that says "Optical Drive" with a drop down menu
Select the blue circle next to that (it has a black triangle) Select "Choose a disk file"
Locate the Ubuntu.iso file you downloaded earlier
Click okay at bottom right Select the Green Start arrow Follow the prompts and install.
ATTENTION: When the installer says it will wipe the disk for install. It will only be the virtual disk you allocated earlier.
